Traditional Instrumental Music From Saudi Arabia

I found this video with instrumental music from Saudi Arabia played with flute and drums a other traditional Arabic instruments but this video also has and some pictures of the country.

As far as I know this is traditional Arab music played with traditional Arabic instruments with an up-tempo beat. The uploader cre8ivmind has more instrumentals from around the world and some videos about instruments from other countries if you would like to check them out this piece of Arab traditional music from Saudi Arabia is part of cre8ivmind’s Music Travel Series much like I am doing here and trying to compile a collection of traditional instrumentals from each country but it’s hard to do and any help would be appreciated, All you need to do is register and write about a piece of traditional instrumental music from your own country. To help me build this collection since many sites will claim that they have instrumental music in the title but when you listen to them they have vocals and just like the Saudi law and their methods with dealing with drunken people and whip them I think any webmaster who writes that they have instrumental music and deceives visitors should also get the same treatment. Sorry about the bad Joke but here is a better joke about being Drunk in Saudi Arabia

Balaban Facts and the Balaban In popular Culture

I am not even sure if this guy is one of the better known Balaban players on the international scene. If you know anymore interesting facts about this the balaban then please make a comment below. Another reason to post about the Balaban is that I would like this site to be a source of musical instrument sounds that is why I have created a new category for musical instruments so that people making music may be inspired by and try out in their own recordings and we can hear new progressive and innovative sounds. Many musicians have had great success by using ethnic instruments in their music so they stand out. The instrument has been used in Film scores and by none other than Peter Gabriel who created the film score for The Last Temptation of Christ. I think the Balaban would sound good in trance or ambient music even in rock what do you think about the sound of the Balaban and which type of music genere would you think the sound of the balaban would work with ?.
