These are some shots of the Texan Highway and some really boring music to go along with it. The thought of a texan abondened town came to mind as it’s what the place I am currently living is like. Except there are no tumble weeds and it’s raining so if you are bored in Texas at least you can go out and enjoy the sun unline this damp deserted dump. But who cares I am leaving this place soon and going to try my luck elsewhere thats why I have not been posting much the past few days. Many bloggers will write reviews when they have the dreaded bloggers block but it’s one of the things I don’t do here much is write reviews on music and why should I write music reviews I am not a music journalist or anything I am a blogger. But being a blogger I am always weary of the term review in the first place. In my opinion a review is too much of a marketing term and not a real opinion on music because I don’t think you can say music about music that will change people’s minds. What I do here is share and try to use words in my text to help people discover new music in multiple genres. I could just be a rock music critic but as much as I like rock I do not want to spend the rest of my life listening and talking about rock music because I like many styles of music both traditional and new age I never did think that I would find myself enjoying dubstep for example until I started this blog and got involved on soundcloud now I quite like some but not all dubstep but also more chilled and ambient musical genres for example today I was notified of a new upload by one of the people I follow on mixcloud who makes ambient mixes.
As ambient music is mostly vocal free I quite like it but it’s hard to say much about it as most ambient music has no beats and I am not an expert in music theory but to someone that is constantly trying to manually find instrumental music tracks and say something about a tune that has no words in the lyrics to help people discover it, Can be hard at times then there are times when music is appropriate for what you are doing. I generally associate ambient music with nighttime and relaxing but I am listening to it at 2.30 pm and as for relaxing the fact that you can’t loop a YouTube video is making me slightly tense, As one of the things you have to do when writing anything about a piece of music is listen to it over and over which I do with most of the tracks posted here on this blog, Because I don’t believe that I should post anything here that I would not like to listen to myself unlike most reviews.
What I like about this tune is that part of it sounds like adagio for strings a tune created by an American born composer Samuel Barber and made famous to my generation (mid thirties) by Tiesto. I like both versions depending on the mood I am in, That is why I like this tune it’s somewhat dark and dreary just like the weather over the past week but I am not an expert in the field of Ambient music all I know is that if you like this tune you may be interested in following Nosedrip on Mixcloud as that is how I discover it via this mix with a French The Realization Your Dreams I think it translates as not that sure my French is not so good but this track has a Title in German which means war and peace my German is not that bad and I can also speak Dutch and Double Dutch . To finish off Blogs are just as much about self discovery If anyone learnt something from this blog post I did and that’s all that’s important because if you can’t help yourself you can’t help anyone else but I need to add more text to what I share here so that I can help people find the music they are looking for because they are sick of mass media junk music that is worse than my writing skills the more text I create here the better chance it will be discovered by others that how it works most of the time anyway it’s a way of helping people find what they want is what blogging is all about not reviews but real opinions I hope you did at least enjoy the music and sorry for ranting on a bit much or did I not say enough ?. Hip Hop without rap is something anyone who makes rap music will always be looking for online. With so many sites promoting Instrumental rap beats but few are giving them away for free, I do not make rap music but wanted to test making hip hop music in with beats in lmms, Which is a free software for linux which runs on wine. The default beats included are quite good but I wanted to try out if external beats would work so I need to find a site that was giving away free rap instrumentals but I did not have to search google as a fellow blogger has been often in touch with me who has free rap instrumentals and beats on his website if you need to make or just listen to a rap instrumental.

Anyway the beats worked in lmms after I converted them to ogg format using audacity, But I am not going to let you listen because I do not think my hip hop mix is good enough for the general public’s ears unlike the beats and music from rightbeat radio.
